USAF C-118 Liftmaster Model Kit

Adapted from one of the most successful piston-engine aircraft of its time, the C-118 Liftmaster was destined for greatness, carrying passengers and cargo on important missions. With up to 24 seats which could be converted into sleeper beds and up to 50,000 lbs of cargo capacity, the type was versatile in what tasks it could complete. It’s service life even included trips to Southeast Asia in support of the missions in Vietnam, restocking vital supplies that permitted the efforts to continue. Around 165 of the Liftmaster type were manufactured by Douglass aircraft, including one which was used as a presidential transport during the 1940s. Model kit replica includes engraved panel lines, accurate rivet details, waterslide decals and a detailed instruction booklet. Measures 9”l with a 10” wingspan at 1:144 scale. Requires glue for assembly.
