This limited edition die-cast model is replicated after the 8,000th Cirrus built, N225HL, a 2020 Cirrus SR22T. World’s best-selling general aviation aircraft since 2003, the Cirrus SR22 is an aviation icon. Surpassing both Cessna and Piper, former leaders since the dawn of flight. The world’s premier aircraft for cadet pilots, the SR22 was the first piston-powered single-engine aircraft to be FAA certified with a "glass panel" cockpit design. Advancing safety and increasing the amount of information available to pilots, the SR22 incorporated new electronic technology and a revolutionary emergency parachute. Officially licensed, this die-cast model features detailed printed graphics, realistic landing gear, see through cockpit, and a rotating propeller, it faithfully represents the historic aviation icon. For flight configuration, an included metal stand brings the aircraft to life. Measures 4”l with a wingspan of 6” at 1:72 scale.
