This Fine Art by Artist Craig Tinder honors the crew of B-24H Liberator 41-28731 and the bomber crews of 392nd Bombardment Group (Heavy) from the United States 8th Air Force. This extremely rare, Limited Edition canvas includes an original remnant of fuselage from B-24H Liberator s/n 41-28731. The relic attaches via a 3M dual-lockÔ connection. The relic is from the aircraft shown in the artwork. After transferring to the 392nd Bomb Group in June 1944, B-24H-10-DT 41-28731, "Picadilly Lillie" was lost in a mid-air collision on 5th July 1944 during a formation practice mission. These remnants were excavated in 2004 near the village of Foxley, Norfolk, England. Framed inside a beautiful black wooden frame that measures 19”w x 13.5”h x 1.75”d. Artwork is easily displayed using the attached sawtooth hangar on the back Includes a Certificate of Authenticity and each piece is signed and numbered by the artist with only 30 made available.
