Designed in 1968 by Massimo Vignelli, the iconic “AA” logo and “Scissor Eagle” were present on every aircraft until 2013, with the eagle having been a request by American Airlines staff. Faithfully replicating the swooping shapes of Boeing and Airbus tails from the same era, each tail has a glossy exterior finish. Attaches to an included stained wooden base with two pegs and rests on four felt feet. Measures 9.5”h x 9”l x 2”w when complete.
