Flying for the first time in 1981 as a new wide-body airliner, the Boeing 767 was intended to be used for cargo and passenger travel alike. It features a twin-engine design with 7-wide seating arrangement or internal cargo bay depending on its operator, with a “supercritical” wing that decreases drag. As it was developed, the type led to the enlarged 777 aircraft, one of the newer hallmarks in Boeing’s roster. Typically loaded with 220-300 passengers, range is 6,800 miles non-stop. Power is supplied by two General Electric CF6 engines, generating a combined 120,000 lbs of thrust on takeoff. Reaching altitudes up to 43,100 ft, cruising speed is 559 mph and maximum weight is 412,000 lbs.

As one of 1,300 manufactured in the line, this 767-300ERF registered as C-GXHM serves as a logistical cargo jet for Air Canada Cargo, based in Quebec. It can carry nearly 100,000 lbs of cargo across trans-border and domestic routes, reaching customers across the continent. Die-Cast version has an accurate Air Canada Cargo paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad-printed decals, and detailed landing gear for display. Measures 5.5”l with a 4.75” wingspan at 1:400 scale.
