The KM, known colloquially as the Caspian Sea Monster, was an experimental ground effect vehicle developed in the 1960s for seaborne travel and cargo transport. Riding above the waves with a cushion of air, it could attain high speeds without being detected by common radar systems. Shrouded in secrecy, its discovery was significant by the United States, with subsequent attempts to discover its purpose becoming a distinct event of espionage during the Cold War. Though it was never widely used, the type remains the second largest aircraft ever created, only falling behind the legendary AN-225 Mirya. Kit features 77 individual stainless-steel parts from 4 separate sheets, tools, and detailed instruction manual for assembly, no glue required! Measures 10”l by 3”h with a 4.25” wingspan.
