Introduced in 1944, the P-61 was the first operational U.S. military aircraft specifically designed to use radar technology. On August 14, 1945, a P-61 named Lady in the Dark took down a Japanese Tojo and has been credited as the last confirmed kill in WWII. Model features realistic panel lines, access panels and surface details with authentic markings. Includes display stand. Measures about 4.25”l with a 5.5” wingspan.
