Royal Canadian Air Force CC-330 Husky Die-Cast Model

Developed from the RCAF version of the Airbus A330 MRTT, the CC-330 Husky is a strategic VIP aircraft that serves duty in carrying important members of government and refuel other aircraft. Total of 9 aircraft were made from this program, with 8 of these being the MRTT variant and the remaining one being the VIP transport. Introduced in 2023, this fleet of aircraft are now based out of Ottawa International Airport.

The CC-330 Husky currently in service will carry up to 144 passengers or 45 tons of cargo, including 24 aeromedical evacuation crew and up to 20 patients onboard in emergency situations. Alternatively, the type can be outfitted with the full 244,000 lbs of fuel like its MRTT counterparts, which can replenish up to 6 RCAF aircraft across a single leg of the Atlantic. Powering the jet is a pair of Rolls Royce Trent 772B engines which create around 230,000 lbs of combined thrust on takeoff, allowing the jet to reach speeds over 547mph and altitudes over 42,700 ft.

Beginning operations in 2023, this strategic transport craft will carry VIPs or cargo across the nation, operating on behalf of the Canadian Government and RCAF. It features a vibrant blue, red, and white livery, with the Canadian flag on the tail and the designation 330002. Die-Cast version has the same accurate paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad printed decals, and detailed landing gear for display. Measures 12”l with a 11.75” wingspan at 1:200 scale.
