The Apollo 11 mission was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. Launched on July 16th, 1969, it carried Mission Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin. This Limited Edition Apollo 11 Chronograph is handcrafted of stainless steel with silver plating against a detailed face that depicts the Lunar Module and an impressive high-resolution image of the Moon. Additional features include a stop-start timing and date function, quartz movement, double-push fold-over closure, bezel as well as luminous glow-in-the-dark hands and markers for easy viewing any time of the day or night. The reverse side of the casing is engraved with the famous quote heard around the world "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind" plus the official emblem of the Apollo space missions featuring the Apollo "A" flanked by the Earth and Moon. Watch casing measures 4.5 cm in dia. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
