Measuring 5”l with a 6” wingspan at 1:72 scale, this die-cast model features an authentic paint scheme, etched panel lines, and pad printed decals. Arrives fully built and painted with an included display stand.
Crucial to fighting the powerful American and British fighters of WWII, the Focke-Wulf 190 decreased the speed and energy and advantage of its opponents with a large engine and sleek shape. There was no doubt that it was an interceptor, designed to get fast and stay fast while catching up to the lumbering formations of B-17s and their P-51 escorts. The 190’s large wing structure and high-powered cannon armament are intended to dismantle each opponent within a short period of time and soak up enemy fire before returning back to base. Weaponry consisted of up to four 20mm or 30mm Cannons, with a pair of low caliber machine guns in the nose, fulfilling its mission of taking out enemy aircraft in a single burst. It served in nearly every combat mission of the WWII Luftwaffe, as one of their premier fighters. This Die-Cast version features engraved panel lines, a realistic livery, display stand, rotating propeller, and pre-installed landing gear. Measures 5” in length with a 6" wingspan at 1:72 scale.
