BuNo 148369 was built as a block 6 F4H-1 Phantom and delivered to the U.S. Marines in May 1961. Redesignated as an F-4B, ‘8369 would be assigned to numerous squadrons during its career including the VMFAT-101, VX-4, and H&MS-13 where it was deployed to Chu Lai Air Base, Vietnam. ‘8369 was struck off charge in 1974 after 1,644 total hours. It was used as a ground trainer and with the USN Fire School, before ending up as part of Dan Bissell’s private aircraft collection in St. Louis, MO. Due to the variations in the metal and paint the color will vary from item to item. Caution: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. This product contains chemical-based paint which may cause respiratory irritation if ingested or inhaled in large quantities. Keep out of the mouth.
