Douglas A-4 Skyhawk PlaneTag®

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a light attack aircraft built for the USN and USMC. Designed with a legendary “Delta-wing”, the A-4 was subsonic and carrier-capable, making it a perfect addition to older, smaller, WWII aircraft carriers. A pivotal asset during the Vietnam War, the A-4 delivered some of the first and last airstrikes of the conflict. This PlaneTag was created from BuNo 139960 which was constructed as an A4D-1 in 1957 and delivered to the VA-34. Each is an individual piece of art, with variations and imperfections that are not product flaws, they are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. Caution: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age.
