Flying for the first time in 1981 as a new wide-body airliner, the Boeing 767 was intended to be used for cargo and passenger travel alike. It features a twin-engine design with 7-wide seating arrangement or internal cargo bay depending on its operator, with a “supercritical” wing that decreases drag. As it was developed, the type led to the enlarged 777 aircraft, one of the newer hallmarks in Boeing’s roster.

The 767-300 line has a typical capacity of around 200-250 mixed-class passengers, with a range of around 4,500 miles and crew of two in the cockpit. Power is supplied by two General Electric CF6 engines, generating a combined 120,000 lbs of thrust on takeoff. These permit an altitude ceiling of 43,100 ft, cruising speed of 559 mph and a maximum weight of 412,000 lbs, including up to 127,500 lbs of cargo onboard for the freighter line.

Serving as the mainline cargo aircraft for Cargojet Airways, this nationwide logistics operator is the only company in Canada that uses newer generation long-range freighter jets. Emphasizing a commitment to making the customer experience better, the 767-300ER aircraft represents the push for more sustainable and economical transport, cutting costs and decreasing wait times. Die-Cast version has an accurate paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad-printed decals, and detailed landing gear for display. Also includes optional opening cargo doors and metal display stand to show the model in flight! Measures 11”l with a 10” wingspan at 1:200 scale.
