Boeing 737 Max 7 Model

First flying after 2016, the Boeing 737 Max line is the fourth-generation offshoot of the successful 737 design. Improvements were made to increase the efficiency, range, and performance to compete with designs such as the Airbus A320. The first Max 7 airframe rolled off the assembly line in 2018, but due to the troublesome debut of the Max 8, the type has seen delays pushing past 2023 when it can be certified. The Max 7 version follows the introduction of the Max 8 that preceded it, intended to replace the 737-700 in active service. Compared to its predecessor, it has new split wingtips for increased efficiency and a 77-inch total increase in length of the aircraft, split between front and rear. This extra space allows for 2 more rows of seating, with the total capacity rising to 138 compared to the 737-700. Max speed is 521mph, with an official range of 4,400 miles and a service ceiling of 41,000 ft. The aircraft is propelled by two CFM Leap-1B engines, producing 29,000 lbs. of thrust each and allowing the aircraft to have a maximum takeoff weight of 177,000 lbs. Thanks to the aerodynamic and powerplant changes, the aircraft costs about 18% less per seat, with a 7% lower overall cost than the competitor A319Neo. It is expected that the aircraft will be in service for decades moving forward, with several different airlines already making large orders to procure them. The Model features accurate paintwork, etched panel lines, and a simple snap-together assembly with detailed landing gear that reflects the Boeing prototype.
