RAAF Lockheed F-35A Lightning II Die-Cast Model

The arrival of the first two Lockheed-Martin F-35A Lightning II aircraft at RAAF Williamtown was more than just a standard delivery for Australia. December of 2018 marked the transition for the RAAF from a 4th generation force into the new 5th generation era, one of stealth, data connectivity and advanced technology. Posessing speed, agility, advanced datalink, stealth coated fuselage and numerous weapon systems, the F-35 is outfitted to do almost any role it’s country desires. It is often called the most advanced multi-role stealth fighter in the world for good reason. A total of 72 aircraft are on order for the RAAF, with support, logistics, and weapon systems making it the largest acquisition of force ever for Australia. This specific Die-Cast is finished with the Royal Australian Air Force livery, with etched panel lines, printed detailing, and display stand. Measures 4.5”l with a 2” wingspan at 1:144 scale.
