Measuring 13.5”l with a 14” wingspan at 1:200 scale, this plastic model features an authentic paint scheme, etched panel lines, and pad printed decals. Requires simple assembly and includes a display stand.
As the flagship carrier for the President of the United States, the VC-25A serves as “Air Force One” which is fitted to safely transport important staff of the US Government across the nation. Modified from the popular Boeing 747 jumbo jet, it has a large fuel capacity and range fit to transport VIPs across long distances in high comfort.
The VC-25 in Air Force One service has a capacity of around 70 passengers, with a range of over 7,800 miles. The aircraft is powered by four General Electric CF6-80C2B1 engines which create around 226,000 lbs. of combined thrust on takeoff. The altitude ceiling of the jet is 45,100 ft, with a top speed of 580mph and a maximum weight of 833,000 lbs.
There have been two VC-25s in service since 1990 when they were delivered, under the designation 28000 and 29000. Both were created from the original 747-200B and are expected to serve until 2025. This resin version has an accurate Air Force One paint scheme, etched panel lines, pad printed decals, and detailed landing gear for display. The Model features accurate paintwork, etched panel lines, and a simple snap-together assembly with detailed landing gear. Model measures 13.5”l with a 14” wingspan at a 1:200 scale.
